The Orbit is a reflective artwork, first piece of the Griffée Collection, a set of glass mirrors inspired by different graphic effects found in Nature designed and self-produced by 06D Atelier. The glass surface is treated like a canvas thanks to an innovative material removal machining process to convey the designers' gesture into different expression at each model, the result is a breakup of the two-dimensional space, reflecting all the surroundings thanks to refraction and distortion effects. The Orbit is a round reflecting piece with grooves representing the concentric pattern common in several structures in the Nature: from the propagation of waves to the concentric rings in the tree trunks and the paths traced by planets in the space.
