Igaal chords sewn together at the top and unravelled at the bottom. The Igaal is a black wool double coil chord worn only by Arab men. It is seen as an object which represents a man's honour, pride and nobility. Its function is to serve to hold the ghoutra head-cloth in place. Bedouins used this object to control their herd. Some men have used this to stroke their wives or kids with it. The idea came about to bring a new life to this material and show it in a form and colour it's never seen. Perhaps a softer, "feminine" more playful version
